Schools and archaeology

I´ve been workin hard the last few weeks to create a network of teachers and schools  who have an interest in promoting archaeology as part of the education of history in schools here in southern Finland. So far the results have been very promising indeed and what makes me most happy is that the age groups of students I will visit in the months ahead range all the way from 7 to 18 year olds.

Tomorrow I will start gathering info and contacts within other educational branches and schools in the city of Vantaa. The Finnish Science Centre Heureka not forgotten! Wishing you all a very nice weekend!
